Gavin O'Donoghue
Gavin O'Donoghue, beloved husband, father, and Head of Asset Management at Carpenter Farraday, passed away peacefully in April 2026 after a long battle with cancer.
Gavin fought his illness with extraordinary courage, determination, and a positivity that never wavered. He never allowed it to diminish him. For nearly 20 years, his warmth, sound judgement, and strength of character shaped this firm into what it is today, and he touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him.
Our team is deeply heartbroken by this loss. Gavin embodied the very best of what a person can be, in his professional life and far beyond it. He showed those around him, simply by how he lived, that life is worth every last drop.
Above all, Gavin was a devoted husband and father. We will honour his legacy through the values he instilled in us, and the standards he set by example every single day.
