David Parfrey is an Associate Director in Carpenter Farraday’s Private Markets team, specialising in capital solutions, private capital advisory and investment-focused hires across Europe and the Middle East. He leads searches spanning private equity, private credit and infrastructure, supporting both mid-market and institutional clients on mandates from junior through to senior level.
David brings a strong analytical and commercial foundation from his earlier career in management consulting. Prior to joining Carpenter Farraday in 2023, David worked at Accenture, partnering with multinational financial services organisations on complex strategy, digital and technology transformation programmes. This experience enables David to bring structured thinking, disciplined project delivery and a clear understanding of how investment firms operate.
With areas of expertise including the secondaries market across private equity, credit and infrastructure, David advises clients on the people and capabilities required to strengthen deal execution, fundraising support and portfolio outcomes.
David holds a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork and a First-Class Honours MSc in Management Consulting from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, where he was awarded an academic scholarship.
