Henry Milton is an Associate Director at Carpenter Farraday, specialising in searches in Private Markets. Henry’s work spans senior sales, IR, and investment appointments, with a particular focus on credit recruitment, including direct lending, asset-backed lending, NAV financing, and distressed strategies. Henry partners with private markets firms, supporting Director-level and above mandates across EMEA.
Before joining Carpenter Farraday in 2024, Henry spent five years at Sheffield Haworth, where he progressed from Associate to Senior Associate. Henry began his career covering public markets across sales, investment and product hiring, later expanding that remit to private markets, working on searches in credit, infrastructure and real estate. This breadth gives Henry a detailed understanding of front-office functions across both public and private asset classes, with expertise that lies in front-office recruitment across the investment spectrum, underpinned by disciplined research and strong market insight.
Henry holds a BA in Modern Languages with Business from the University of Nottingham.
