Julian Schneider is a Senior Associate at Norgay Partners, Carpenter Farraday’s North American partner firm. Based in New York, he supports research and execution across the firm’s Private Markets practice, with a focus on Investor Relations, fundraising, secondaries, infrastructure and private equity. His work spans both general partners and investment banks, delivering structured, insight-led support across mandates in the United States.
Julian began his career in executive search in 2021 and brings experience recruiting front-office professionals across a broad range of alternative investment strategies. Before joining Norgay, Julian worked at Rand Thompson Consultants, where he executed searches from junior through to senior level across private capital advisory, secondaries, infrastructure and private equity.
At Norgay, Julian combines disciplined research with a strong understanding of market nuance, supporting searches that require technical depth, behavioural assessment and continuity of engagement. His work is underpinned by a detailed familiarity with fundraising and secondaries ecosystems, along with an ability to identify high-performing talent across specialist investment and advisory functions.
Julian holds a BA in Government from Hamilton College, with a minor in Francophone Studies.
