Sam Ferrone is a Vice President at Norgay Partners, Carpenter Farraday’s North American partner firm. Based in Los Angeles, Sam supports search execution across all of Norgay’s practice areas, recruiting experienced professionals for clients across private equity, private credit, investment banking, asset management and real estate. His work spans junior hires through to senior leadership appointments, partnering closely with stakeholders to identify individuals who bring both technical capability and long-term organisational fit.
Before joining Norgay, Sam was the Founder of Lariat Search, where he led retained searches across front-office finance and investment roles. He previously served as a Principal at Cresthaven Financial Partners, recruiting across buy-side and sell-side mandates, and began his career as an analyst within GQR Global Markets’ Investment & Advisory practice.
Sam brings particular expertise in infrastructure and private equity within the sports ecosystem, including teams, leagues and technology-driven platforms. His search work is underpinned by deep market knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement and a relationship-driven approach that supports clients across the US and Canada.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University, where he double-majored in Economics and Environmental Studies.
