Caroline has a joint honours degree in history and philosophy from the University of Birmingham.

Chandler is a co-founder and Managing Director at Norgay Partners. She is actively involved in business development, marketing, and search execution across the firm’s fundraising, investor relations, and asset management practice areas. Chandler has been in financial services recruiting since 2010 and has placed candidates across fundraising and investor relations, investment banking, investing, and operations. Previously, she was a sales consultant for recruiting technology solutions. She graduated with a 4.0 cumulative GPA from The University of Georgia in 2009 and completed a postgraduate fellowship from Princeton University in Hangzhou, China.

Before joining Carpenter Farraday in 2023, David spent four years in Management Consultancy at Accenture where he worked on cross-industry digital and tech transformations for global clients. David has a First Class Honours Masters in Management Consultancy from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a First Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce from University College Cork.

He has sat on the retail bank and wholesale bank exec committees and led the commercial and business banking operations for one of the largest European lending banks. He now chairs a number of businesses in a range of sectors, from SMEs to PLCs. His experience and insights help us create significant differentiation for our clients, candidates and staff.

Prior to joining Carpenter Farraday, James spent ten years in investment banking search, and eight years at HSBC in their trading operations team.

Kate manages the day-to-day operations of the office ensuring its people and environment are well looked after and she also take an active lead in the firm's CSR and D&I initiatives. She came to us from the London Business School, where she was a Business Development Manager. Kate has a Bachelors degree from University of Bristol.

Mary Gay is the Founder and Managing Partner at Norgay Partners. She has been in the executive search business for over 20 years and has executed hundreds of searches across secondaries, fundraising, private equity, investment banking, infrastructure, and other subsectors within the financial services industry. She has actively participated on the boards of Breakthrough NY, a non-profit organization that transforms the lives of children through education, and is part of the Vestry Leadership at St. John’s Episcopal Church Cold Spring Harbor. Mary Gay graduated from The George Washington University and The French Culinary Institute.

Michael is a qualified chartered accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin.

She joined in 2022 from Nelson Scott where she specialised in placing Paraplanners, IFA Administrators, Wealth Managers and Financial Advisers and was previously an Assistant Paraplanner for Tilney Smith and Williamson. Rachel has a Master of Arts from The University of Warwick and a Bachelor’s degree in English and American Literatures from Keele University.

Tom is one of the company directors and heads up the Wealth Management division. He moved across from commercial sector search to join us in 2009. He covers private banking and relationship management in the UK and other European jurisdictions and works closely with Norgay Partners, our partner firm, expanding their wealth, asset management, and alternative investments client offering into the US. He works with a wide range of institutions, including large US banks, traditional private banks through to private investment and family offices.

Wendy is a Managing Director at Norgay Partners in Los Angeles, where she oversees the West Coast search practice. Wendy works across alternative investments placing candidates in fundraising, investor relations, investing, finance, and operations roles. Her clients include public and private real estate companies, private equity firms, and investment banks. Wendy graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with minors in French and Business. She studied at the Sorbonne while completing a semester abroad in Paris, France.

Zac is a Consultant within the alternative investments division covering IR and capital raising searches for private equity, credit, and Infrastructure funds. Zac joined Carpenter Farraday in 2023 from Three Hills Capital Partners – a European structured-capital investor – where he was a member of the Investor Relations team. Prior to this he was part of Credit Suisse’s Private Funds Group, where he focused on the project management of fundraising processes for private equity clients. Zac has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter.
