Hundreds of Santa’s dash along Hove seafront!

We always enjoy a challenge especially for charity and especially if it means donning a Santa suit! We joined more than 650 Santa’s running along the seafront in Hove in December and took part in the annual Santa Dash in aid of the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

The Rockinghorse supports sick and disabled babies and children, along with their families, at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex.

Many of the team at Carpenter Farraday have children in their lives, some who have received first-hand the special care the Alex and Trevor Mann unit provide so we were delighted to be able to take part and support the charity’s Christmas Appeal.

It was a beautiful sunny day, despite the chilly weather, and the intrepid Santas, big and small, brought smiles and festive cheer to passers-by and raised over £7000 so far for the charity with their combined efforts.

We absolutely loved our first Santa Dash experience, and we are already excited for next year’s!
